Yes, I contiue to hear and read the same myths and lies perpetuated, such as "Terri has been in a Persistant Vegetative State for 15 years" blah, blah. She is NOT! If they would take 5 minutes to actually read the description of a PVS, it is so clear that she is not in one!

Some are ignorant, and some are apathetic maybe because they have no hope in their lives (y'know..."eat, drink & be merry, for tomorrow we die.").

You know what i've realized why people don't want to hear about it? It's because they somehow think that Terri is the same as their parents, et al. and have to justify why they let them die.
One guy I work with immediately started describing his mothers symptoms to me and said they had to let her go...and they should let Terri go too. It's merciful...

They are afraid they will feel guilt.
