IMO, the President acted appropriately with regard to Terri. GWB even flew back to sign the bill from Congress.
It was a good start. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, however.

We want him to act strong and brave! We want him to do as much for a helpless American Citizen, as he has asked our husbands, fathers, daughters and sons to do in Iraq! Save Terri from a tyrant!

We should have no respect for laws that unjustly kill American citizens! Lincoln didn't. The First Republican President did what was right...I thought Bush was the guy to do the right thing, guess not.
The Bush boys think this is going to help them with politics....what a mistake. Tragic mistake. They are turning their only supporters against them.
