Eisenhower sent in the whole 101st Airborn Division into Little Rock in 1957 just to get 9 black students into a school. His opposition was not a few scummy cops, it was the entire Arkansas National Guard.
What would Bush do if he was President in 1957?

What would Bush do if he was President in 1957? That's easy... whatever appeared to be the politically expedient thing.

There's one big difference--when Eisenhower sent troops to Little Rock, he was backed by the Supreme Court. In this case, Bush would be defying the federal courts. I wish the Bushes found a better way to handle this, but the real problem is that our federal courts are backing a corrupt state judge.
