Constitution Party. Oh, I know some Kool-Aid drinkers will be so arrogant as to think the GOP is the only place for real conservatives. Just before the last civil war, the Whigs made a similar mistake.

I know I'll hear the "throwing your vote away" thing. To that I counter that I'm not throwing away my principles and morality. Principles before party.

To care only about winning power at all costs requires no moral principles. That's why "party first" factions attract people who lack them.

I recommend the movie Awakenings. You shouldn't be put off by Robin Williams' name in the credits -- he shows great restraint in this, surely his most subdued performance.

Based on a true story -- a doctor in 1969 Brooklyn finds a way to reach patients that seem virtually catatonic.
