It's an issue of accountability, isn't it?

We have to put our actions (and money) where are words are.

On my side of the swamp, I am writing letters to every elected officeholder I know, no matter at WHAT level, to ask them what there opinion is about the case.

I am asking it in connection to their potential political aspirations, as they may be wishing to move up the ladder and go to positions where they WOULD have some input. I want to know GOOD and EARLY, if they would stand up for RIGHT over EXPEDIENCY, even if it were to mean they risked impeachment or voter recalls. If they are not afraid to make such a pledge, or chose not to answer, they are not going to get my vote. That goes for everyone above the position of local sanitation district (elected positions).

You can canvass aspiring politicians to ascertain their opinions on these matters but when push comes to shove, you cannot trust that they will stand for life. Look at Jeb Bush. I will never trust a politician again as long as I live. And I'm resigning from the Republican Party.
