That grilled cheese sandwich must be getting cold.

Look, I don't create reality; I'm just describing it.

A helpless woman whose parents want to feed her is being starved to death. Homicide is against the law. A judge has ordered homicide. The executive of the state of florida has power to "check and balance" the judiciary.

Jeb Bush is not taking action.

Instead of defending this moral failure on his part, add your voice to those who are calling him to repentance. Don't make it easier for a sinner to live comfortably in his error.

A moral failure? I can't think of anyone currently in the state of Florida who has done more to save Terri than Jeb Bush. NO one. I'd say, if anything, he's been the most moral one involved throughout this whole sorry episode.

It's a shame you can't see that, and better direct your energies to something useful - such as pressuring legislators to get rid of the laws that allowed this situation to occur. Maybe looking to find a candidate to run against Greer when he comes up for re-election. There's so much that could be done, instead of sitting around looking for scapegoats...

Just a thought, for what it's worth. :)

Not anymore. See Pegita's post. They've moved from passive to active euthanasia.

Wow. I've surely seen some disgusting, smarmy behavior in threads before, "farmer," but nothing to date that matches yours. Congratulations.

NO ONE is enjoying or taking any pleasure out of this among genuine FReepers. I, for one, certainly wish things in this sad, tragic case could've turned out differently. But your unhinged rants are simply beyond the pale, and do damage to the cause you profess to champion.

For shame.

I totally agree with you. So Chad, Justmythoughts, and whoever the hell else, call me a radical. Why don't you borrow a line from DU and call me a "fundie" also? Geez.

Wake up people. This is OUR country. This is the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

Starvation and dehydration of innocent disabled people is NOT what we do.

This is a travesty, and our "leaders" have thrown up their hands and said in effect "I've done all I can do, too bad so sad". That's not my America.

Jeb & George have given up. Their lack of courage makes my blood boil, and it ought to do the same to anyone who believes in Truth, Justice, and The American Way.

Tonight, Jerry Doyle was on fire as he berated the President, Gov. Bush, the G.O.P., and the now useless 2-party system.

I COMPLETELY agree with Jerry Doyle, and I urge any of you that are fans of his show to try to find tonight's show on replay or archive. He speaks truth.

Jerry's opinion (and mine) is that George and Jeb both saw the ABC polls and with the advice of their political advisors decided to give up. Jerry then called all of them SCUM for letting this happen in America. He also said that anyone in power who showed no action and simply just let this poor helpless lady die is scum as well. I agree.

I am a die-hard conservative FIRST, then a Republican second. Our leaders are not conservative. They may be GOP, but what the hell's in a name? Our votes are taken for granted, people.

Sorry, I won't drink the Kool-Aid, folks. If Terri dies, I will no longer SUPPORT the Republican Party like I did in 2004. I may vote for a Republican as the lesser of two evils, but I will never support.

Buncha cowards. Where's the spirit of American courage? Where's the spirit of Martin Luther King? Where's the spirit of Eisenhower? It's gone....and gone with it is the life of a woman killed by 2 things....

1. A corrupt judicial system
2. Republican inactivity

God, how I miss President Reagan.
