After hearing 1egal argument and being duly advised in the premises, the Court ruled that the executive and judjcial branches of government are separate but equal and that the executive branch is not superior in the area of judicial matters.

First question-- doesn't the executive branch control the police?
seccond question-- do they swear oath to judge Greer down there? it's to the constitution up north.. but were strange
I thought that was about Jeb Bush and his church. There was too much ruckus.
The local sheriff, apparently. They don't report to Bush.
I have lost all respect for the Federal Judiciary, the FBI, and the entire Justice Department who does not do their job and investigate. I have some respect for the Congress, who at least took it on. Otherwise I feel puke tonight.
I think jeb would win when it comes to raw fire power... that's not the problem
I had heard on Fox, I think it was, that Greer had been kicked out of his church. Geeze I wonder why? Why would such a kind hearted Christian man get tossed out on his ear? Couldn't have been because he might be an embarassment to his church members and they just might not agree with his sense of "ethics", (used very facetiously here)
Can't investigate if the body, medical and court records all disappear. That's what I expect.
JUDGE SET UP ELABORATE SECURITY AND COP BRAGGED THEY KEPT PRESIDENT, GOVERNOR OUT
[The following report comes from Jackie Doucette, a close friend of the Schindlers who has fought by their sides for years]:
Yesterday during the hospice vigil, I recognized three undercover sheriff's deputies in plain clothes spying on Terri supporters. They work for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office as deputies.
I told him that it was obvious that he was spying on the protestors. My friends and I asked him why there were so many special police units, a swat team, K-9 units, and undercover cops swarming around hospice. His face became red and he said he didn't know what we were talking about. He stammered and told us that he was only there to learn and to watch. I told him he was an undercover deputy and was there to spy on us.
I watched him spy on Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski as he was giving an interview with a local TV station. Randy stood next to the monsignor trying to hear the conversation. I told Randy that I knew what he was doing.
Several weeks ago during a court hearing, Judge George Greer told an attorney for Michael Schiavo, Deborah Bushnell, that he made arrangements for hospice to be covered with police from the Pinellas Park Police Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Greer bragged during the hearing that the Sheriff's Office had installed high-tech surveillance equipment and monitoring devices to keep an eye on the demonstrators. Greer boasted that he was able to get all the special police units to guard hospice. Judge Greer is a close friend with former Pinellas County Sheriff Everett Rice (now a Florida House Representative who recently voted against the Terri bill) and the current sheriff, James Coats.
Yesterday, a police officer from the Pinellas Park Police Department told us that they were proud to be able to block President Bush and Governor Jeb Bush from taking Terri into protective custody.
Several days ago, Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski wanted to place a drop of the Precious Blood of Jesus on Terri's tongue. The police officer standing guard in Terri's room threatened to arrest the monsignor if he attempts to place anything in Terri's mouth. Monsignor told me of this incident after the Holy Thursday Mass. He's a very holy and humble man. He's ministered to Terri for over four years.
I have not been able to watch much TV this month because I have been spending a lot of time in the ICU with my daughter. From what I recall, however, JEB HIMSELF SPILLED THE BEANS ABOUT HIS PLAN TO GO AFTER TERRI, in a CALL to Feces I mean Felos!!! He also HELD A NEWS CONFERENCE about his plan to get Terri!!!
If my understanding is correct, Jeb is an ABSOLUTE FOOL!...And he DOOMED Terri!
His pastor had sent a letter out to the congregation criticizing Greer's actions. When the Terri starvation began he suggested to Greer that he might want to resign, and Greer did.
It's probably just wishful thinking on my part that even at this late hour, that someone will be able to save Terri.
President Bush showed up at the hospice???
Whatsa matter Mikey, you asked me down here to look at Terri, now I'm down here and you turn me away????
what an article! thanks. Its too bad that the cop's name wasn't mentioned who said that about blocking Pres. Bush and Jeb from getting to Terri. Of course, I'm sure they'd deny it, but if enough people heard it, it could have some value. I think I'll send it to Jeb Bush's office too. Thanks again.
The bill died in the Senate. There was no problem in the House. The House would have to vote to impeach before the Senate could try the Guv, and I believe it has to be by a supermajority.
I think you're right. He should never have tipped his hand. I can't imagine why he would do it like that. ???????
I always said that it didn't take that much courage to stand up to Saddam Hussein - he's everybody's idea of a villain, there's no risk of unpopularity in calling him out (except with the looniest liberals).
But to stand up to "Judge" George Greer - now THAT would take courage. Courage that the Bush bros. haven't yet summoned. Hope they find some courage before Greer's death order is fully carried out.
yes I had heard that, and I'm glad they did it too. Maybe he'll start getting a little of the "poison" treatment. No one deserves it more than him.
Wow, it sounds like criminals in this hick county have a window of opportunity - - the judge and the sheriff have dispatched all the cops to guard the killing process at this hospice!
Can't the State AG file an injunction to take possession of the body for autopsy??
I would really doubt it. The judge is tight with the county establishment - including prosecutors, so he won't get any heat from the local fuzz. And the state law-enforcement won't go after him, because Jeb will want this whole episode to fade from people's memories fast. If corruption were turned up, and a criminal conspiracy that had connectiosn to Terri's killing, then Jeb would look even worse for having not intervened to save her. No, this pack of sleeping dogs will be allowed to lie, undisturbed
