Have to disagree with you on that point. If Jeb had really wanted to take Terri into protective custody he would not have telegraphed his intentions in a news conference. From where I sit his so called "News Conference" was nothing more then a sham designed to make him look good.

He knew(and if he did not he should never had been elected Governor to begin with), that Greer was going to issue an order to keep the state from removing Terri, just as soon as he knew the state was going to try.

I agree with you that Gov. Bush should have removed her and then had the press conference.

Not have the press conference to give time to Judge Greer to issue an illegal order (which is being obeyed by the county sheriffs) that the executive branch cannot enforce the valid removal statute.

Gov. Bush's press conference and slow response to remove her allowed Greer to violate the law, and Gov. Bush isn't willing to risk bloodshed at the hospice to correct that violatio of law.
