KING: True, you have a girlfriend? SCHIAVO: Yes. And I am very fortunate... KING: Does it hurt the situation, do you think, as the way the public might look at you? SCHIAVO: From their side, I'm sure. But you know something? I'm fortunate to have two women in my life that I love very much. My girlfriend right now has done more for Terri than her own mother did. She shopped for her. She washed her clothes. KING: How do you feel about all this? In your gut, how do you feel? You could have walked away, Michael. SCHIAVO: I could have. But I love my wife. And I'm going to follow her wish. And nothing's going to stop me. KING: She mentioned a child. You don't have a child do you? SCHIAVO: Yes, I do. KING: With your girlfriend? SCHIAVO: Yes. KING: I see. |
Q. How do you feel about being married to Terri now? SCHIAVO: I feel wonderful. She's my life and I wouldn't trade her for the world. I believe in my - I believe in my wedding vows. Q. What do you mean? You want to take a minute? SCHIAVO: Yeah. Q. If the court would let us take a minute. Q. You okay? SCHIAVO: Yeah, Im sorry. Q. Have - you said you believe in your wedding vows. What do you mean by that? SCHIAVO: I believe in the vows that I took with my wife. Through sickness, in health, for richer or poorer. I married my wife because I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I'm going to do that. |
Q. Are you presently youre married to Terri Schiavo, correct? SCHIAVO: Yes I am. Q. Are you presently involved in a romantic relationship with anyone? SCHIAVO: Yes I am. Q. Are you involved in an intimate relationship with this person. SCHIAVO: Yes I am. Q. Is this the first relationship that youve been involved in since your wife has been in a coma? SCHIAVO: No. Q. How many other relationships have you been involved in? SCHIAVO: I was in one other relationship. Q. Was it an intimate relationship? SCHIAVO: Yes. |

Weight and memory problems |

1992 Deposition |
November 1992 Trial Testimony |
|
Q: How did you feel about her weight? By this, I mean, you know, you dated her and you married her when she weighted something around 145 pounds, and then she was now, at this period of time, weighing in the area of 120. What was your feeling with regard to her weight one way or another? SCHIAVO: I I never really thought about it that much. You know, I you know, Terri was my wife, I didnt marry her because of her weight, you know, I I never really noticed I mean, a real decline in her weight. I mean, she would lose weight and then she would gain it and she would you know, and I never paid attention to it. I didnt think I had to. |
Q: Did there come a time when you got concerned about the fact that Terri was getting skinnier than you wanted her to and did you talk to her about it: SCHIAVO: I mentioned it a couple times to her and got to the point where a couple times when she took off her blouse or something at night, I could see her bones, collarbones and shoulder bones would stick out, and Id mention, Terri enough is enough. Lets gain a little weight now and that was that. |

Statement of Michael Schiavo October 20, 2003 |
Larry King Live aired October 27, 2003 |
Dateline: Can you understand how two people see their child in the condition and Terri is now and want nothing less than a miracle.
SCHIAVO: I certainly can. I am not a parent. And Im sure its horrible for a parent to lose a child. But theyve had ten years of also hearing doctors telling them, theres nothing we can do for Terri, theres nothing we can do for Terri. |
For over 6 years, I have struggled with the Schindlers in court. On Wednesday, I joined them in grief. I understand what the Schindlers are going through at this time. I feel the same loss. |
KING: And what, Michael, is their motive? SCHIAVO: What their motive is? KING: In order to keep their daughter alive. They don't have a motive, do they? SCHIAVO: Probably just to make my life hell, I guess. |

SCHIAVO: A few hours later, I was getting out of bed for some reason and I heard this thud. So, I ran out into the hall and I found Terri on the floor. I knelt down next to her and I turned her over because she sort of fell on her face. On her stomach and face. I turned her over going, Terri, Terri. You okay? She kind of had this gurgling noise. I laid her down and ran over and called 911. I called her brother who lived in the same complex as we did. I ran back to Terri. She was not moving. I held her in my arms until her brother got there.
(NOTE- Robert Schindler, Sr. has stated that Michael phoned him. He advised him to phone 911, hung up and phoned Robert Schindler, Jr.) |

Hey there. It also took me a while to figure out the Terri Schiavo case. Once I figured out that:
-Michael Schiavo is a charlatan & liar
-that Terri has a family that aches to take care of her
-that her condition is hardly comatose
-that she's not hooked up to machines
I changed 180 degrees
Hannity said yesterday he wants to talk to Mark Furman and see if he wants to investigate the case.
"I have to ask how anyone can defend this depraved monster?"
It's a good question Gary, but many on here defend him vehemently, and call the rest of us "over the top".
Would anyone want Michael Schiavo to be their nurse?
I pointed out on another thread the inconsistencies between statements he made on Larry King and in court testimony. On King's show he claimed that Terri and he had been watching TV programs when she told him she didn't want to be kept alive on tubes or be a burden to anyone. Then in court testimony he stated that it was during the time her grandmother was hospitalized that they discussed it. He fabricates his stories and then can't even stick to the story.
Did you ever think you would see that on Free Republic, off all places? And not from newbies, either.
Employed by the Pinellas County Sheriff. This case is out of Ripley's believe it or not!
Hyscience: There's More on Sheriff Rice and Judge Greer ... leaving the office of Pinellas County sheriff to became a member of Floridas House
of Representatives, Rice hired Michael Schiavo for the nursing staff at ... hyscience.typepad.com/hyscience/ 2005/03/theres_more_on_.html - 64k -
I don't Michael killed her or anything like that. I think she's a pain in the ass for him and has been since she became ill. It's very difficult taking care of someone in her condition, and if he wanted to divorce her and be done with it, I could understand that choice on a certain level. But what's happening now is shameful. He's a creep.
Scott Peterson is probably thinking, "D@#M, I wish I'd a thought of that!"
Gee, if being starved to death is such a "euphoric state," you'd think they'd want everyone to see it.
/sarcasm
The media now has a prizewinning documentary--"How To Commit Murder 101 with the Assistance of the Liberal Media and the US Court System and Get Away With It."
It's about an entire court system, every court of competent jurisdiction from Greers, to SCOFLA, to the Federal court system, to SCOTUS. The entire system permitted this outcome.
I wonder if Michael will make rings for himself out of her gold teeth, if she has any...
Ain't is something that it took your own personal effort to find out those basics?
He's probably lied about that too and gave Terri's rings to his live-in girlfriend.
Ping. Most of this isn't impressive but the one under "Memory Problems" (4th table down) is... weird, to say the least.
Oh, and the Snooze Button was the greatest productivity bottleneck in America. Until the Internet... ;)
Unbelieveable.
