I am just warning everyone about what Jeb's responsibility is.

Actually, as the Chief Executive Officer of the State of Florida, it is his responsibility to execute the laws of the state - those laws being made by representatives of the people, and ruled upon by judges.

He doesn't make law, and he doesn't get to pick and choose what laws he executes.

Ergo, his hands are tied.

He doesn't make law, and he doesn't get to pick and choose what laws he executes.

And when the statutes and constitution say one thing, and the courts another, he has to exercise discretion. The constitution and statutes say a crime is being committed. The courts have ordered he not interfere. His exercise of discretion is to surrender to the will of the judiciary. Do you disagree?

There's nothing in the constitution about his hands being tied when "ruled upon by judges" when those judges' rulings are illegal. The court's only recourse is to try to impeach him for it, and it's the Legislature which would judge that. A Legislature which has little humor for the runaway courts of Florida.

YOU: He doesn't make law, and he doesn't get to pick and choose what laws he executes. Ergo, his hands are tied.

Thomas Jefferson: "The opinion which gives to the Judges the right to decide what laws are constitutional and what are not, not only for themselves in their own sphere of action, but for the Legislature and Executive also in their spheres, would make the Judiciary a despotic branch."

Thomas Jefferson: "The care of human life and happiness, not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate object of good government."

The fundamental law of the United States is the Constitution. The President has the sacred duty to uphold the Fifth Amendment, which he swore a sacred oath to uphold.

Likewise, Jeb Bush swore to uphold the constitution of the State of Florida.

I challenge you, if you have the courage, to post Section Two of the latter document here now, and explain to us all why Governor Bush's primary duty is not to protect the life of the innocent citizens of his State.

Its not that simple it is never that simple.
And if you check US history there have been moments where the facts were such as to necessitate ignoring the written law to uphold the moral law.
