If he issued such an order, it should be grounds for impeachment then. It would be somewhat similar to an appellate court ordering the Navy not to assist the President. Governor Bush should have simply ignored the order. He should also have him arrested for obstruction of a State Official.

I don't think impeachment would be do-able - and certainly not in time for Terri. The fact seems to be that the congress, Governor and President got out-powered by a pissant district court judge. This person may be appointed (not elected as ous are in WA State) IF elected though, the people can show their displeasure in due time. I am saddened that no strong men/women were able do what is right either - just taking Terri out of the death camp. We must get out from under these lawyers and judges and take back our self-reliant, cooperative country.

I wish I understood the logic in that...he would have to be brought before a judge, correct? What do you think would be the result of that?
