Far too many Southern Baptists do not believe that Roman Catholics are Saved Christians. Apparently the leadership of Greer's church do not ascribe to this demonic view.
Remember, Baptists claim the very same Apostolic origins as do the Catholics ~ (a claim which is usually rejected by ALL Catholics).
This is not a debate over theology, and if religion enters into it at all it has to do with the way these churches are operated. For the moment Catholics excommunicate and Baptists don't. However, Judge Greer seems to have been kicked out of his own church where he was a deacon (same's a priest in Catholic parlance).
Guy can't even go to the grocery store by himself anymore either. He's totally dependent on the mercy of others to get food.
