I agree, she never was going to get better. I can only rely on experts to explain her cognitive awareness, which is my sole concern before she is allowed to die. ...but the question does pose an interesting test of situational ethics for all to think about.

Probably not, but Terri is a different story. She's just being eliminated because she's disabled. Hubby has a new wife who's not.
