Yeah, this is going to get out of control. I admit I'd love to see one of the Bushes send in the Army/Nat'l Guard (depending if it's Dubya or Jeb) or even the protestors storm in, unarmed of course, by overwheming the cops and surrounding Terri, but this is going to get out of control. I'll be the first to admit, "when the system is broken," you get things like this, when the rule of law fails, you get the rule of force. It has happened many times in history. Somebody needs to do the right thing and shut this off. I'm a guy and there are times I just want to cry, America is entering a dark time.

I don't agree with this kind of mentality however what are we going to do when Terri's situation becomes the norm instead of the exception. Our courts are already killing babies, now the handicapped. Who will be next in this final solution to turn our democracy into a socialist state?

Sadly no one is gonna "wake up" after being in a PVS for 15 years.I agree, she never was going to get better. I can only rely on experts to explain her cognitive awareness, which is my sole concern before she is allowed to die. ...but the question does pose an interesting test of situational ethics for all to think about.

The MSM is gonna have a field-day with this.

Wish you and Diverdogz were as appalled at Schiavo and Greer as you are about those who feel the crime of murder---in this case that of Terri Schindler---ought to carry the death penalty.
I can't help opining you two would have been Tories in the American Revolution.
There was a time when Americans would have not tolerated the murder of an invalid---even if they had to physically remove her.
Was a time when a jerk of a judge like Greer would be taken out on a dark night and tarred and feathered. Would have taught him more about good judicial decisions that all the chorus of opposition to him by good people today. Somehow I think we were better in those days.

What anyone wants doesn't matter it seems regarding Terri or Micheal. I just think there are so many nuts out there that all should be on guard.Terri is being guarded, but it's to take her life rather than save it.
Up is down, and down is up!
