is this what the IRaqi people are going to liberate themselves to?? allowing a "new judicial system" to just legislate what Sadaam Hussien was dictating? Seems to me that would just be a transfer of power of death to the judical.

polly....you are absolutely right to question this. How are our laws now any different than Sadaam Hussien's? Torture is torture, regardless of the excuses or justifications given.
