I would never subject my children to Catholic school. BTDT and have the scars to prove it. They'll remain in public school. But this is about Terri so I will leave it at that.

CAtholic school ain't what it used to be...Don't know what scars you got (My husband had bad experiences, too when he was a boy, so I am not denying your experiences...there were and are some bad ones)...but the schools now aren't what you went to. Mostly secular people teaching, a whole lot of rules about abuse that weren't there before the scandals, and frequently very bad catechesis, counting on your school.

The very best are wonderful. The worst, you might as well have saved your money.

If it is possible to weep in heaven, Mother Cabrini and St. John Bosco and the other teacher saints must be weeping over what has happened to the schools.
