OK. A momentary memory lapse. Plug in the correct names and -- everything I said still stands.

I can't think of a reason to participate in the primary of a party that sold us out on this. Unless it's to write in a third party candidate :) Participating in a party function gives tacit approval of a party's actions - or lack of them. My party registration has alway been independent. That means I'm free to always go with conscience, and work with any party that I need to. For the record: it's never the RATS.

True about the Constitution Party's national website. The state websites are generally better. I have nothing but the highest respect for Howard Phillips. We should have listened to him.

Wampus, I don't think one can register "independent" in SC. He can vote in either or both party primaries, can't he, if they are not held on the same day? If one does not vote in a primary, he is an "unaffiliated voter" and can vote in the general election thereafter.
