I thought they were giving her Morphine injections (of course not it has water in it). Reality is that Morphine inhalent given only to open her breathing passages? Body wriths and cramps in involuntary muscles spasms (with no pain relief?).. Why was is barbaric death method chosen? Why didn't they just give her a fast death by lethal injection or gas like criminals. Why mandate this poor woman to suffer this bodily torcher?

It's based on a fantasy that she chose to forgo medical treatment...It's immoral to put her down with a lethal injection, but they can ease the way with Valium, Scoplamine and Morphine.

Steve Sakac of West Virginia has been coming to the vigil every night with his 31 year old disabled son, Tony. Steve has been the sole caretaker for his son since 1990, when his son developed encephalitis caused by a tick bite (Lyme's disease). The doctors told Steve that his son was brain dead and he would die within several months.
Steve wanted to see Judge Greer to show him that Terri, like his son Tony, is not brain dead.
Steve loves his son dearly. While we were talking, he repeatedly hugged and kissed his son.
