Hi, amdgmary -- thanks always for your posts. I am so sorry I did not get to meet you, but fv has something for you...

Last night we could see how this is coming down. felos said that last rites were given when the tube was pulled by the **hospice** priest (rather than Terri's/the Schindlers' priest...), and in a way that 'the court' had authorized. 'The court' had also authorized that Terri could receive communion one more time before she dies -- probably today. IOW, Terri's religious rights are being vetted by 'the court' -- and felos plays it as if that's what he and michael have to do, their hands are clean. This was all carefully crafted by them. Precedent...lessons learned...this beast will become even stronger.

This is all I want to post for now -- as prayers continue for Terri, the Schindlers, you, and their many friends. Love to you all.

Thought you might be interested. This is a part of the Schiavo case and how it affects us that I have yet to see discussed.
