I have been lurking here for a long time, and I admire all of you more than I can say. While I share your disappointment with Jeb, I want to ask you not to write him off. Read John 21:17---Peter denies Christ three times after His arrest, yet when Jesus returns to earth, it is to Peter that He says "Feed my lambs." Our leaders are only human, like ourselves---we mustn't turn on them just because they aren't gods.
On a more practical note, consider what we now know about Greer's preparation--down to snipers on rooftops. If Jeb had gone marching in there with the National Guard (which I think was his only option) there would have been carnage.
Think of all the protesters with their children who would have been put at risk. Think of the other hospice patients. Jeb has a responsibility to them too.

Read John 21:17---Peter denies Christ three times after His arrest, yet when Jesus returns to earth, it is to Peter that He says "Feed my lambs." Oh THAT is good! E-mail Jeb with "Feed My lambs" in the subject line.
P.S. "My" referring to "Jesus'" should be capitalized.
