What about Laura Bush? Where's the First Lady in all this? If the Bush boys don't have the gumption and are too afraid of getting empeached, Laura certainly doesn't have to worry over any of that. Laura should have been out 24/7 telling the truth about Terri and the media would have fallen all over themselves beggin to get a quote.

I'm very diappointed in the entire Bush family.

it is my understanding that Laura is not hard core pro life.. so if abortion doesn't completely bother her, why should this?

Why not slam Barabara and Jenna? And what about Bush's old man?

You're just pissed off at everybody, aren't you?

Laura Bush has always been pro-"choice," just like Barbara Bush. I did read, though, that she MIGHT be leaning more pro-life than she was.

I just called the National Republican Party Committee, and when I pressed #1 for comments the box was full, so a lot of folks must be disgusted with them.

So, since #1 was full I pressed #3 (Communications). I told them (answering machine) I'm not from the press, but #1 was full, & I am just a regular registered Republican.

I said that the Republican Party was losing it's soul; BOTH President Bush and Governor Bush could have saved Terri Schiavo; Judge Greer is a Republican, and so is Governor Pataki in my state, a pro-abort; and then there's California.

I also told them it's time for a third party.

I left my first name and phone #, but know they will never call.

If anyone wants to call the national Republican Party, their phone # is 202-863-8500.

They need to know that they have to walk the walk, not just talk the talk, and supporting politicians like Greer, when he was cruel to Terri BEFORE his 2004 reelection, is not walking the walk.

I am so angry and sad, but mostly my heart goes out to Terri's family. I'm still hoping for a miracle, and, of course, still praying. I think I'll send the Bush brothers another e-mail to let them know we won't forget this cowardness.

Although I'm extremely angry, I will be honest and say that President Bush has done a lot for the life issue, such as not giving money to the U.N. for abortions, et al.
But was that just politics?

We shall see when it comes time to pick a judicial nominee for the Supreme Court.

Maybe the Bush brothers are pro-life but don't have the courage of their convictions.

How would they like it if it were their loved one, and politicians that could help did not.
