Speaking of John Gibson, he was subbing on the radio the other day for O'Reilly.
Gibson told of his wife's grandmother who was very sick in Florida, so his wife went down there to visit her.
She found her grandmother in the nursing home or hospital in what was described to her as a vegetative state. The nurses were telling her it was all over. Mrs. Gibson said please just do some blood work on her.
Guess what? The grandmother's blood sugar level was at zero. She was in diabetic shock. They were going to let her die because they misdiagnosed her. Once they fixed her problem, she lived on for 2 more years.
I caught a bit of his subbing, but missed that story (I only got to listen for a bit). But what I heard him say was very good.
BOB SCHINDLER SPEAKING: Just in to see Terri...she's doing remarkably well under the circumstances...she's showing signs of starvation and lack of hydration. She is fighting like hell to stay alive. And I want the powers that be to know that....anybody that has the authority to come in and save Terri to do it...it's not too late......
