We have to pray for God's will to be done, even if it's not what we think God's will is, or what we want God's will to be. What I am praying is:
Our Father in Heaven, I commit the hands of the leaders here, especially Jeb and George Bush into your hands. Open their hearts and minds to your will, and may they do what you ask them to. Not my will counts, o Lord, but thine. Have mercy on the dying, and those who watch and wait, especially on the Schindlers and Terrim and lead us always, ever closer to you. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Amen, Knitting. I couldn't have said it better. I agree with you in prayer. I think God has a far greater and bigger plan than we can imagine ... there are too many people crying out to Him right now, and His answer to our cries may not be to specifically save Terri (tho we still hope and pray that He will) but something greater and bigger than Terri. It's not a horrible thing for Terri to go home to be with Him. It's horrible that people are murdering her, but her actual Home-going is a victory that they know nothing about.
Praying VERY hard for a miracle.
Come ON already....Judge Greer!
