I truly believe that Terri regularly speaks a few words here and there. About 1 1/2 years ago, Schiavo added another couple of items to the list of Forbidden things in Terri's room.
The items - were all recording devices and Cell phones. Of course, Judge Greer wasted no time in approving the request. If Terri's family were allowed to bring recorders in her room, I'm sure they would have been able to record Terri's voice speaking many times.
This reminds me of a death penalty case, where the prosecutor refuses to admit he convicted the wrong person no matter what new evidence is found.
The media still doesn't realize how difficult it has been to document Terri's abilities. They act like Doctors are free to go in an examine her, which is not true. The Schindler's have been under such horrible pressure for years. If only HINO would have just walked away.
The MSM is protecting the judges because that is the branch they need to bypass the legislature.
It is also the branch which allows them to keep sources confidential.
This is why I get so angry, if the media doesn't know fact they should not report on anything unless it is fact. This is the only reason why some republicans are against keeping Terri alive, they are too quick to trust the media.
I am mad at our government, they come up with a law and then wash their hands of it. I am sure the POTUS could step in and he should.
