Jeb has a rare opportunity to set a precedent that needs setting. He should have "pardoned" her or granted clemency, even though she is not a criminal. Who would have had the nerve to take that to court? But if he'd been charged with violating the law for that, he would have been exonerated and thereafter, any governor could lift a death sentence off an innocent person. There'll be other such innocents.

And if you think he would NOT have been exonerated, still, there is unlikely to be a better test case down the road.

Jeb has missed all kinds of chances to do the right thing. ANY right thing. I can't imagine what he's thinking. Whatever it is, it's what is the difference between "us" and politicians.
