A freeper (forgot who) altered the original and it goes like this:

"First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out.

Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out.

Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out."

When they murdered the unborn and about to be born, babies, I didn't speak out.

Because I wasn't pregnant and I wouldn't do that if I was pregnant.

Then they came for the disabled and handicapped and I didn't speak out because I wasn't in that condition. I was healthy and didn't care about them.

Later I got old and I was infirm. Then they came for ME!

They told me I was taking up scarce resources and costing others money through my health insurance and a burden to everyone. No one decent was left to speak out for me.

They were all gone.
