I wonder, just wonder, what the Pinellas County Humane Society response would be to a telephone call this afternoon. Starting with a vague sentence, omitting the subject (Terri) and just stating you heard about some starvation occuring in the County and wanted to be confidential but how would you report such a thing, when could they get to the scene to help out, etc. etc.

Then back track a bit on telling them the address.

They'd probably go ballistic, urging you to tell them. But I wonder how long it would take the Humane Society to realize you were actually talking about a HUMAN BEING in Pinellas County, rather than a pet, and accordingly, for them to suddenly lose their hot interest?

Amazing that we live in a culture willing to do more for a pet than a person.

Weeping...
