The last word I heard this Good Friday morning before going to bed around 4AM PT was that Judge Whittemore was AGAIN declining to hook up dear Terri's water and food again. I'd hoped that because all the world was watching him, he'd fear God and act rightly, but no. Now it's back to the 11th circuit again today.
Lord Jesus,
You willingly gave Your life so that we wouldn't have to spend an eternity separated fom You. Yet we see such evil in our country, people wanting another human dead, Terri who is NOT terminal, is not on any machines--yet they want her dead.
Give us repentance, O Lord our God. Forgive us our sins. Be merciful to us. You died on the cross this day 2000 years ago, because you saw how evil we are, and how much we need God, and in Your love, grace, and mercy You chose to forgive us for Christ's sake.
Please hear us when we plead that You rescue Terri from this horrible starvation and dehydration by her fellow Americans.
Let every Christian be Your servant and instrument agaisnt evil this day. Stop the mouths of the murderers from teaching and spreading death across our land.
Let us be a country which loves the life You have given us, and which appreciates each day. Even as Joni Earekson Tada was on Fox today and showing how she has ben without hands or leg use for 38 years, and yet she loves life and loves You.
Please use US in any way. We want YOUR will, but we plead that you will nourish Terri with Your living Water and sustain her body.
Chnge the hearts and minds of this 11th Circuit now going over Terri's information. They voted against her 2-1 and 10-2 this week. Terrorize them, Father, make them aware they are murdering. Help them understand that Terri has NEVER had her OWN representation, but only her "husband's."
ONLY You can save Terri, Lord. ONLY You can make us a land that is not continually guilty of murdering our own. ONLY You can change our hearts so much that we WANT to do what is right and want to love. Please strengthen the Schindlers and their attorneys. Please strengthen the voice of America crying out for Terri to hve water.
Please show the Democrats and the liberal women who are silent, and the groups that will support animals but not Terri, PLEASE convict our nation, each individual that THEY are guilty of murdr, of not valuing human life which YOU said is in YOUR image.
Please be merciful to us, that we may be YOUR light for the world, bringing your atonement and redemption to every nation. You died for these sins, and we ask to see Your power afresh in the hearts being turned to you, in repentance, in fruits of mercy and love, in honest and righteous legislation.
Thank You that none of this is too hard for You. We trust in Your timing and ask to see Your Hand. Soften our hearts to hear Your voice afresh from Scripture. We love You Lord Jesus. Amen.
