Sadly, I was just telling my children that MS is counting on that exactly what you posted. There will be all sorts of speeches on this, Terri will die, there will be some more ranting and the the average american sheep will get back to shopping for their new car or getting proposals for the next addition to their house.
She will be completely forgotten in a year and Michael S. and his detestable attorney's know it and are counting on it. They know that they only have to wait a few more hours and this will all be over - and we'll all go back to sleep.

Well we need to keep it visible. There are many political reforms that could be worked to push back against this scourge, but they take time and patience.
I talked to a close relative via cell phone today - she was lamenting the fact that she was having a hard time finding a suitable outfit for Easter Sunday. No larger concern in her life than that. I have a hard time understand this kind of thing with her regularly, that her life rarely expands beyond the view from her kitchen window, but it seems a bit more poignant tonight.
