The answer is that you would not believe any poll that disagreed with your preconceived notions. It is also patronizing the bulk of the population. The wording of the poll cannot be disguised enough on this simple a matter, people are not stupid, they know what pulling or reinserting the feeding tube means. The percentages might vary somewhat but 66% is pretty high, clearly a majority.
