As emotionally involved as we all are in saving Terri's life, and the wish that someone would DO something, what you have suggested the President do is ridiculous.
Why? Don't just make general statements.

Or fly on Air Force One back to DC to sign a bill at 1:00 in the morning to try to save her life?
C'mon! You may wish he could do more, but he has to stay within the law of the land.
