Unfortunately for Terri, they fixed the law so they could use hearsay....bad law lets bad things happen. And legally, she could be killed because of it.
Except the 'hearsay' (filed affidavit) which contradicts Michael's "loving husband" image.

Not to say some good laws weren't also ignored or flaunted. But you're right. This should be a wakeup call for us to take a fine-toothed comb over the laws that do and might oneday affect us, pressing our officials to change them. What the judiciary's response would be is anybody's guess, however, based on their appalling display of Judicial Tyranny.
