Gramma, make sure you take your kool-aid with you on your walk. When an elected politician does something inconsistent with conservative values or principles, he should be called out for it. Even if his last name is Bush.

The list of legal cases is an awesome example of the ridiculousness of our current judicial system. there are too many laws, too many lawyers and judges, and too little common sense. good and honest people often get "s---ed" by it and the crafty, get off free. not all but too often.

People who say they "want government to keep out" are just mouthing slogans. There are times when the family must decide. BUT THE GOVERNMENT STILL HAS TO DECIDE WHEN YOU GET TO DECIDE AND HOW YOU GET TO DECIDE. Otherwise, it's just open season on everbody. So you CAN'T get the government out. When we the people, who are the government, don't agree on when or how that is, you get confusion.

Yes, but 30,000 people with water bottles in a line would make one hell of a statement.

Rush is a Johnny Come Lately on this issue, a band wagonner. This woman has been in this condition for 15 years, in the last week he's coming on strong. Stirring up the pot for ratings.

I dont like how everyone is calling Greer an Activist judge, i think that is completely unfair. Go find yourself a big box of kleenex. Now go cry in your beer.

"The President can do no such thing."
The president or the governor can issue an exective order whenever they wish.
You, of course, being an atheist and an anti-Christ, would rather not see it happen.
Free Terri and jail the rest!

He has the authority with DCF to take Terri into state custody.
Now, he would have to go to court 24 hours afterward unless it is the weekend. There is some question as to whether that means tomorrow or Saturday.

"It is also a form of conditioning - the next case will go over much easier if the population takes the Terri Case as a regrettable but necessary precedent."
The next case, they will dwell on how to make it more painless, not whether it should be done or not. Just watch.
