You forgot the /sarcasm tag.
President Bush is probably burning up the phone lines to support Jeb's next actions. They have to be absolutely confident whatever plan they have to save Terri's life will not cause a further Constitutional crisis and disruption of the public order.
If that were to happen none of us will enjoy life, liberty etc.,
The people supporting Terri are now turning their anger at Jeb because of his press conference yesterday inferring, or a least raising the hopes for, some kind of action.
I'm not advocating it...but I sure wouldn't shed any tears over scum like them.

From what I understand - from a comment made by a family member - it is in the Florida Statutes that Jeb doesn't have to 'request' anything - he can just do it - it is his RIGHT as Govenor. He does not have to ask the court for permition to take custody , especially with the new medical info coming to light.
Perhaps he is allowing Greer to show his butt one more time before he activates his right to take Terri anyway.

Indeed, Eichmann's only defense during the trial was "I was just following orders." (Or...The Law)
Arendt's analysis of the seductive nature of evil is a disturbing one. We would like to think that anyone who would perpetrate such horror on the world is different from us, and that such atrocities are rarities in our world. But the history of groups such as the Jews, Kurds, Bosnians, and Native Americans, to name but a few, seems to suggest that such evil is all too commonplace. In revealing Eichmann as the pedestrian little man that he was, Arendt shows us that the veneer of civilization is a thin one indeed.

But.......... Jeb will not have to do anything illegal! But he better hurry up. How sick are we all going to feel if Terri dies and then we are told that Jeb was just about ready to do his thing? This is real SICK!

It would be God's will. But He has different wills for different purposes. Some for showing goodness. Some for judging wickedness. He does not direct evil to occur, but He does permit it, and it never catches Him off guard.
If this occurs, it is for the judgment of America.
OK - so Jeb rushes in and grabs her - and then has 3-4 days of review time - before greer can then vacate it and order the re-taking of Terri and taking the tube out again - and Terri's suffering and murder is prolonged. You want that? (THAT would be "for show")
If he can act and be assured that this wont happen - he will....
thank your lucky stars you aren't in the position of trying to save her only to end up prolonging her agony.
I believe he's trying to find an avenue that assures she can be rescued with being taken back in 3-4 days.

So what???? If Bush won't act NOW, maybe we should ask the UN to intervene! They could send in a special French unit to free her from those Nazi stormtrooper cops that arrest children...!!!!!!!
