I think Jeb Bush is as guilty as Judge Greer for the suffering Terri is enduring.

Well, I sent him an email asking him to use the executive powers. There's no other choice.

There isnt one leader in America with the stones to
save this poor woman..

They have let her go this far..twice now..

They all want Terri dead and out of the news..knowing the American attention
span will be easily diverted by the next issue...crisis
in a week or two at most..

That is ridiculous. He is a governor of a state - not king or dictator. I think he has already done more than probably any other governor would under the circumstances. I'm grateful for what he has done.

Thanks for posting! (I can't wait to read this, but have to go on a long drive now. Bookmarking for later -- I hope, after Terri has been taken into custody by DCF.)

Bump!

I apologize in advance for being negative ... but I think it is a Bush trait not to follow through when confronting with pressure.

Bush41: read my lips ... and then backing down to dem tax proposal.

GWB: toughest fight is social security reform (pressure wise) and I fear he will back down and let it slip ... or the reform with be the continuing of the pyramid scheme by inserting more money into the program (through additional taxes, raising taxes, etc).

Jeb: won't intervene in my opinion

Hopefully, I'm wrong

Jeb Bush has lost the respect of the vast majority of Americans that gave him a chance at being a Governor. He is done, better find a new job. What we are seeing here is cowards. This included the court, who now are participating in the destruction of our Constitution.

Great, so now we are going to give the Left exactly what they want, namely making Jeb Bush the man responsible for Terri's death! Do you not see what you are doing here??? Jeb Bush has done more to spotlight this case and preserve Terri's life than almost any other politician in America would have. At the end of the day, he is governor of all of Florida and is bound to uphold the law as determined by the courts. The real target here is the Florida courts, and only the people of Florida can do something about that.

The Left is getting us to turn this case into another internecine shooting match between conservatives, leaving them free to pursue their culture of death and their takeover of the judiciary. And we seem to have so easily walked right into the trap.

I don't believe that to be true. He's put forth a tremendous amount of effort so far to save her.

Now we are very close to the finish line. It's up to him alone.

Then why would anyone trust their kids to him in wartime? If our governors are that bad, it's because your low expectations lets them get away with it. He needs to do his D@mned job.. not solicit or make excuses not to. The time for excuses is over. It's time for action.

What the heck do you think a governor is for? Why do you think they have veto power? They aren't a puppet of the courts!

Jeb Bush is not a dictator, but he has ceded whatever powers he has under law to Greer, thus making HIM a dictator. If the governor of the state of Florida cannot exercise his lawful power to save Mrs. Schiavo's life, he has become an accomplice in causing her death. Greer's power exists only in the vacuum created when elected leaders refuse to lead.

I think Jeb Bush is as guilty as Judge Greer for the suffering Terri is enduring.

That statement is utterly absurd. Are the Schindlers' lawyers as guilty as Judgew Greer for failing to raise the substantive due process arguments in federal court?

He did everything within his power to save the woman. There's enough blame to go around here without cannabalizing one of our own.

Jeb Bush doesn't care enough to bother saving Terri - and if she dies, and he seems to be waiting for this - there are those who will always remind him of it.

I hope that all those who put their thumbs down to uphold evil Judge Greer's infamy in ordering Terri to die by starvation will choke on their Easter Sunday dinners.

As they go to Church Sunday may they stumble and trip upon entering their place of worship.

And, most of all I wonder if God will ask them when you had the power to save a defenseless disabled woman from a brutal and torturous death what did you do?

God already knows they did nothing.

I thought when I looked at the map of the 2004 Election Results it was splashed in Red for Bush...now it is splashed in sorrow for the life that is slowly and painfully draining from this young and abandoned woman.

My heart cries ;-(

What is Jeb Bush waiting for? He will bring shame and God's judgment down on the entire nation if he lets Terri die!!!
