I think Jeb is Terri's only legal hope here. I'm praying that Jeb is merely waiting for the right time, Greer to hang himself and the Supremes to deny, as all the others have. If noon comes and goes with no action by the governor I'm afraid that'll be it.
I was expecting Jeb to say yesterday something similar to Dubya. But it was quite surprising that he took the stand he did. He may have given a heads up to Shiavo and Greer but I think he had to have the presser to place the possibility of protective custody on the table.
If Jeb does nothing after noon, we will know he was merely posturing for political reasons and that's what I'm hoping we don't find out.
Yes it is all up the Jeb. The supreme court has acted by following the same pattern of the previous courts - stall. If they were going to do the correct thing it would have been done by now. The tactics for the Judicial system is stall stall stall - the longer they stall the closer it gets to the end of the road and they know that.
