Boies appears to be offering his opinions on how the Schindlers lawyer (Gibbs) should have written the appeals to the courts to get the justices to at least temporary reinstall Terri's feeding tube while he consider the merits of the case.
While it seems he is offering sympathy for the Schindler family, he probably is just trying to make Gibbs look like an inferior lawyer than himself.
Gibbs is an inferior lawyer to Bois. Bois understands the winning legal argument to make, Gibbs does not. I just heard Gibbs on Greta and now I am almost certain that Terri has lost. Gibbs was arguing the constitutional right to life. That will not win. The only chance of a legal win is to argue for a de novo review based on conflicting and new evidence that she is not in PVS and that her wish "to die this way " was not prover.
Bois gets it, Gibbs does not.
