Oh, no doubt we have lost something . We have lost our innocence.
Yes we have lost the innocence. But that is not necessarily bad. The innocence of beliving the court system or that the system works most of the time is gone.
It will make jury duty all the more important in both criminal and civil cases. It will make the judicial nomination process all the more critical.
Personally, and I do confess it is dark horse wishful thinking, I would like to see Judge Bork nominated to the USSC.
