I too have lost a son. 16 yr. old quad, died at 22 yrs. old.
He was hospitalized for 1 year, and we visited him every single day. Then we took him home.
He was tube fed for 2 years, then when he lost his kidneys we dialysed him at home.
If anyone tried to keep me away from him or my husband, they would have to have killed us first.

Collier, your son was so blessed to have his loving parents there for him. I'm sorry for your ordeal but so glad you were able to have that time with him.
