Pinging means I'm calling your attention to a specific post ... something that's interesting or needs some action. Some FReepers have extensive ping lists for such purposes. When you're pinged, it will register as a New Post to You on your Forum page ... that's your red alert!

it took me the longest time to navigate around FR. I finally figured some of it out by experimenting!!:-) I still lose threads a lot and sometimes take several hours before I can " find" everyone!!
