I think we are seeing the true character of men during this time.. including those we thought we could trust... which is why we can't put our trust in men.. but in Him alone.
Lord, You have already won the fight and the battle! You reign victoriously! You have conquered sin on the cross! thank you for reminding us this week how much You Love us and how fragile life is!!
We give it all to you god, we give it all to YOU!!
Yes, I agree with you. I was cynical about trusting man in the first place. I suppose there are several things to be thankful for here: this situation has revealed many good and decent people for what they truly are, solidified our suspicions about others and also ripped the masks off the pretenders.
AMEN, this is an awesome reminder to us all that men fail and the only ONe we can trust is Our Lord Jesus Christ! We put our faith in Him and Him alone! He is a Maker, provider, helper, no one else! No one else can help but Jesus! He is so sweet to our life and He provides such comfort to us in our misery! praise Jesus!
Exactly right.

You are right....the bad thing is we are so helpless to do anything about any of this. I have such a hard time thinking about what I am doing because I am so sick.
Amen to that! Our trust should ALWAYS be on him alone.
As far as the true character of the men in our country...I seem to keep getting stuck on Patrick Henry's speech. These were brave men who shaped our country and I'm just going to post a small snippet...
"Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty towards the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings."
Patrick Henry - March 23, 1775
