To those tempted to doubt, I would like to quote one of my favorite Bible verses (hee!): "Where were YOU when I laid the foundations of the earth?"
AMEN..........
I think He is teaching us a valuable lesson this Easter week... Don't rely on men, rely only on ME.
That reminds me of a joke if you all want to hear it. I saw it in Reader's Digest:
A scientist was talking to God and told him "hey, we don't need you anymore, we can do everything you can, so you don't have to hang around anymore".
God said, "Really? Are you sure? Is there not one thing you can't do without me?"
And the scientist said , "nope, we have test tube babies, heart transplants, science and medical technology is the best now, etc.".
So God says, "OK, I'll tell you what...I will go away and never interfere with matters here on earth if you win a little contest I have in mind".
The scientists says, "OK, what is the contest?"
And God says, "We're going to have a man-making contest, and you have to do it the way I did in the beginning, no trick or petri dishes".
The scientist says with complete confidence (and a little smarminess), "No problem! Then he stoops down and scoops up some dirt off the ground.
God says, "Whoa, wait a minute pal...get your OWN dirt".
