If the vulnerable adult's caregiver or guardian is present, the protective investigator must seek the caregiver's or guardian's consent pursuant to subsection (4) before the vulnerable adult may be removed from the premises, unless the protective investigator suspects that the vulnerable adult's caregiver or guardian has caused the abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

The pertinent part is right there. That's a big 'unless' that gives the DCF the ability to take Terri away from MS. That portion, the suspecting that MS has caused the abuse allows the DCF to remove Terri from him. He has no say if they suspect him.

see post 240... that includes Greer if he is her guardian also.

The new evidence that claims that Terri may not PVS is what DCF will be acting on.
