Maybe this judge is seeing this as a "stepping stone" to something else for himself down the line, and now could be the hero who at least grants a de novo hearing of the new evidence...I am just thinking this because this judge seems to want to hear the case now.

You might be on to something. Why would he want to have the case in his court again if he's just planning to rule the same way? Particularly if the rumor is true that he initiated the latest appeal.

I am not sure if that is done...but when Randall Terry was on I think he said the court called Gibbs...hey I wouldn't doubt that that could happen, but I am not sure.
