The political problem for both of the Bushes is that because they tried to save Terri, the pro-death advocates are up in arms, and if they fail to save Terri, the pro-Terri crowd will turn against them. The only way out of this (from a political standpoint) would be to succeed at saving Terri. Wonder if they've thought of this (if politics is even a consideration for them at this point -- I know it has no bearing for me. I see it as a moral issue.)
I also want to know, right now, what any man or woman who has intentions of becoming a candidate for President of the United States, in 2008, who plans to run in the GOP primaries, specifically thinks about this issue.
