I tell the mockers that I'm not throwing away my principles and conscience. And that's what really matters. Amen. I came to this conclusion eons ago. The only "wasted vote" is the one not cast and the only way someone should vote is with their conscience. You can't support a party of rhetoric with a conscience. Sooner or later the rhetoric has to mean something and sooner or later the people spouting the rhetoric have to stand upon their principles or be revealed for the phonies they are.

Agreed. I'm never going to vote just to vote against something or someone. Only to vote for. That's why I voted for W last time. On principle, not party. But parties can and do change, and can fail to deliver. Right and wrong don't. My decision as to how I'd vote isn't final. It will NOT be the Dems under any circumstances. It all depends on what happens next. Blind loyalty to *anything* is indeed blind!
