Heavenly Father, the hour approaches, and now is, when the battle for the life of this mother's child will be settled. The forces of evil contend about her bed of agony ... they are vicious, they are vocal, they are unrelenting. But You are God, and in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. How merciful You are to the enemy, for You could slay them in one breath. Yet You are not willing that any should perish. Pierce their hearts, O God, that they might see the horror they are committing ... may they repent and relent.

We continue to pray, Merciful Father, for that one Judge who will rule righteously and well. We know not the number of times the widow appeared before the Judge before he relented, but we know the number of times we have been before You on behalf of a Judge who will render justice where justice has long been denied. Work in the heart of this one Judge who today will hear the appeal on behalf of this wounded woman ... grace the words of the attorneys that they meet all criteria ... soften the heart of this Judge who, again, could be the one to restore this wounded one.

Though all is dark around us, O God, yet we look to You for the Light of Truth ... the Light of Justice. Restore unto this family the life of their beloved child, in the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
