Well the guardian was Judge Greer (another conflict as technically, he cannot be the judge and the guardian).

If she has a guardian, why is she being killed? Apparently the guardian is not doing the job.

her guardian - who has TOTAL control - is michael, who, it appears, has a dedicated, determined and desperate need to have her dead and immediately cremated (already has the court permission)

A guardian is normally supposed to see the ward. Greer has never done so in person. So how could he really be her guardian?
