I had hoped that George W. Greer would be the new "Haman" but he seems to have even overthrown satan at this point.
It sends shivers down my spine to hear a judge tell law enforcement to disregard the Governor...and I can't believe Jeb seems to be letting him get away with this...and I can't believe W is letting Jeb let him get away with this. If this isn't a case of runaway and abusive judiciary there never has been any.
The damage to the Left will be severe as long as Euthanasia is kept out of the equation....
Now is not the time to ease up on this....buck-up FReepers, lest a Clinton appointed Judge decides your fate someday.
Pollywog, I only wish some others in this Schiavo "drama" had the conviction, stamina and ability to love as gracefully as you.
Did I just hear Rush say that Gov. Bush is awaiting word from Judge Greer for PERMISSION to take Terri into custody??
Maybe I misunderstood.....but if this is what I heard - the very thought is ridiculous because the governor does NOT need Greer's permission to do this under the Florida Constitution!
The president can write an executive order to get Terri into a hospital immediately. It is not breaking any law to do so. This action would not interfere with the judge. And since Greer already flaunted a Congressional subpoena his ruling is highly questionable.
Executive orders are lawful. They've been written by presidents ever since Washington on a number of different issues. http://www.heritage.org/Research/LegalIssues/LM2.cfm
Contacting the president and ask him to write an executive order immediately. Also, contact Gov. Jeb Bush asking him to take Terri into protective custody see contact info below:

"I'm not sure we can get it done here in Florida," Martinez quoted (Gov.) Bush as saying just after a new Schiavo measure stalled in the Florida Legislature. "Do whatever you can federally."
This is the Governor of Florida calling for help. Any notion that the Feds have no Constitutional business there is malarky.
