If the state police won't obey the governor, the president has to step in to enforce the law that Congress passed on Monday.

This is the trump card, in my humble opinion.

Just like President Eisenhower sent marshalls to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957 to enforce federal laws against segregation.

Oh my, thanks for reminding me about Eisenhower and the federal troops enforcing the law.

I was living here and thought the south would never get over it, it was one of the most dramatic things in my life. The howls, grumbles, all around were predicting a new secession and war. It was a time.
